The Fluke TL175 TwistGuard test lead set has important new features to conform to the latest test standards. By twisting the probe the operator can adjust the length of the exposed metal tip which satisfies the requirement in EN 61010-031 that there should be less than 4mm of conductive tip for CAT III and CAT IV instruments. A window near the probe tip shows the CAT rating of the current tip exposure such as CAT II 1000 V, CAT III 1000 V, CAT IV 600 V. The silicon leads, as well as being rated for over 30,000 bends, feature two coloured coatings (red over white) which makes wear and damage immediately apparent. The test leads are fitted with 4mm shrouded banana plugs for universal compatibility. This version has 2mm probe tips, another version is available (55-2161) with 4mm lantern adaptors that screw onto the probe tips.
