How do you become an OZEV-approved installer of EO charging stations?

In the first instance you will be asked to complete our installer application form. This provides EO with the details they will need to authorise you with OZEV as an approved installer. It is a requirement that every installer must complete the EO Academy training prior to installing any Smart EO products,
Before you proceed with the training you will have to provide the following documents:

• Electrical Competency Installation Certificate for each installer who will be fitting EO products within your company
• City & Guilds or NICEIC EV Charging course certificate for each installer who will be fitting EO products within your company
• Valid Public Liability Insurance Certificate
• Your NICEIC (or similar organisation) registration details

You will then be sent a link to the EO Academy portal. This is an online resource and training platform offering professional accreditation and detailed installation guidelines on EO products. The training comprises of eight modules plus further modules for specific EO products. It can be done in the installer’s own time and be over multiple sessions. Your progress through the modules can be saved and there is no time limit on completing the training.

Once successfully completed, letters will be produced by EO which authorises you to claim OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme* grants on your EO installations.

*PLEASE NOTE: In September 2020 OZEV announced an update to the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Grant Scheme, which relaxed the requirement on installers to be approved specifically by the manufacturer before installing products. However, to ensure that you promote and install the EO charging solutions correctly, Replenishh and EO strongly recommend attending the EO Academy. If training is NOT completed, remote support from EO may be affected.
